Profile
Dr Natalie Mulcahy holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a diploma of child health via further study at the Sydney Children's Hospital. Dr Mulcahy is also an RACGP Examiner and conducts ECT visits for registrars.
Dr Mulcahy is originally from the UK and started her career as a registered nurse in Brighton before moving to London and training to become a registered sick children's nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
After spending further time in London hospitals caring for children with serious liver and kidney conditions she met her Australian husband to be and so moved to Australia permanently in 1995. Dr Mulcahy fulfilled a long-time desire to study medicine in 2001 when she commenced Medical School at The University of Queensland. Dr Mulcahy graduated in 2005 with first class honours.
After internship and residency at Gold Coast Hospital, DR MULcahy completed her family with a fourth child who arrived in 2007.
In 2010 Dr Mulcahy went on to spend some time working in rural Australia and Emergency Medicine.
Dr Mulcahy enjoys all aspects of general practice and particularly values the opportunity to care for her patients through all stages of life from newborn to the elderly.
